Sober apartment living is incredible. I loved my time there; its a huge complex which is great to meet others in sobriety and also great for accountability. The staff is just as amazing as the property – they really care about the wellbeing of each individual resident. There are weekly house meetings which are normal for any sober living, but with a place of this size, its a great way to meet the new residents. It’s located right in Old Town Scottsdale, and, for the cost, you can not beat it for the location!!! I am truly grateful for my time spent there and cherish everyone I met there – many of which are still great friends. Hands down, I recommend SAL to anyone looking for sober living that holds you accountable but also gives you the best time of your life!

If you are really serious about your sobriety, sober apartment living is the best choice for anybody. When I started this journey, I didn’t have that many people that I could count on, and I knew I had to put my sobriety first. So that’s why I chose to come to SAL. The community that SAL promotes was a big part in my sobriety. The staff cares and is willing to help in any way. If you choose to go there, you won’t regret it. Give yourself and sobriety a chance.. it’s all there for you..

Best sober living around. I took multiple tours, and, hands down, SAL has the most to offer someone who is serious about their recovery. The residents are very welcoming and willing to help out with just about anything.

This place is extremely unique and unparalleled in the world of sober livings. The community here is extremely supportive, and the staff is attentive and caring. The residents are always helping each other out with car rides, employment connections, emotional support, and everything in between. When you sign on to live here, you’re joining a family of strong, resilient members of Arizona’s recovery community. There are also events here such as weekend BBQs, volleyball tournaments, movie nights on the projector screen, and other community activities. You will get to know people quickly.

I lived at Sober Apartment Living for just over 7 months. I was new to the state and fresh out of inpatient treatment. After touring several sober places in the valley area, it was clear to me that SAL was the right choice. The unique combination of apartment style living and community fellowship played an integral part in me being able to meet strong, sober, and motivated individuals to further myself and my recovery. Molly and the staff are top notch and not only good at their jobs, but also just all around great and helpful people. Would recommend to anyone in the valley area that is serious about taking the next step in their recovery.

This place is super clean. All of the furniture is new, each unit has its own TV and WiFi. You have two people to each room, so no more than four to a unit. Most other sober livings are like 10 people in a house, but this place is two or four to a unit. Everyone seems to be really friendly, and management will make changes based on feedback.

The community itself is really cool. There’s always people going to meetings or doing stuff, and they seem to do events like pool parties a couple of times a month. The saltwater pool is really nice, and it’s also heated.

The only downside is no pets.

I could go on for several hours about how this place has affected my life. As hesitant as I was to move into a sober community after treatment (rather than my own place), I am incredibly grateful that I chose to go to Sober Apartment Living. When I was touring sober communities, this place was the only one that made me feel a sense of belonging from the get-go. As I got to know everyone, I developed some of my most cherished friendships. What’s more is that the community always holds me accountable and drives me to be the best version of myself. Through my stay here, I’ve learned to be a leader, a good friend, and a little less socially awkward. As I see this community continuing to grow around me, I can’t help but feel this overwhelming sense of optimism. Sober Apartment Living keeps getting bigger, it keeps getting better, and I would (and already do) recommend it to anyone serious about their recovery. I love this place.
